Force Restart Your iPhone
On iPhone 8/8 Plus, X and iPhone 11 Series
- Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
- Quickly press and release the Volume Down button.
- Press and hold Side until the Apple logo appears, then release the Side button.
On iPhone 7/7 Plus
- Press and hold the volume down button
- And then sleep/wake button at once for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.
On iPhone 6s or Earlier

Update Software On Your iPhone
