Step 1: Stop using your phone at once

Always use authorized and rated adapters and cables for charging the device. Improper methods of charging can also lead to damage to the battery and even overheating problem.
Step 9: Toggle Connectivity options
Connectivity options such as GPS, Bluetooth, NFC cause a lot of battery consumption and also increase the load on the processor in order to search for connections nearby. Many applications having access to connectivity options keep running in the background without your notice and might also turn these options automatically ON. Thus, it is advisable to restrict permissions of these applications such as restricting ‘location access’ for those apps which tend to automatically turn on GPS. Always check that firmware and OS updates are updated by navigating to Settings » About Phone » System Updates. Updating applications and OS should be done from time to time in order to avoid any issues.
Step 12: Wipe cache partition
Storage is accessed in the recovery mode by the Cache. There are times when these files get corrupted or generate bugs that cause issues in your smartphone. Boot your device into recovery. Select ‘wipe cache partition’ from the menu. After the process is completed, reboot the system by selecting the Reboot system now option and check if the issue is resolved.
Step 13: Perform a hard reset
