There are multiple reasons on why you are facing Bluetooth delay while connecting your devices to your Windows computer. Down below are some possible solutions along with the troubleshooting steps.
Method 1: Checking Battery Level of the Bluetooth device
Bluetooth devices are wireless and run on battery. Though they are rechargeable, they tend to empty out fast. Most of the Bluetooth devices show numerous problems when it’s running on a critical battery level.
Therefore, you must check the battery level first. If it’s low, recharge your Bluetooth Device. after it has been charged, connect to Windows 10 and check if there are any delay issues. By now, it should be fixed.
To check the battery level, you can install third-party applications like Bluetooth Battery Monitor. Also, you can use Windows Settings.
Step 1) Press the Windows key + I on your keyboard to open up the Windows Settings.
Step 2) In the settings menu, click on the device, then head over to the Bluetooth & other devices tab.

Method 3: Disabling Audio Enhancement
Audio enhancements are filters, and effects for every sound played on your Windows machine, though it is a pretty good feature. However, it has been seen that if the feature is active, it conflicts with the Bluetooth devices and causes delay issues. To fix it, you must disable all Audio Enhancements using the Windows Settings.
Open up the Windows Settings by pressing the Windows Key + I on your keyboard, then go to the System option. There, on the left pane, move to the Sound tab.
Now, on the left pane, if you have connected your Bluetooth Audio device, you can see its name, ensure that it is selected.
If you don’t see the name of your Bluetooth device, then click on the drop-down menu and select it. However, if your device has been selected, you can proceed ad click on the device Properties option.
Now, on the Device Properties page, click on the Additional device properties option. This will pop up the sound configuration window. Here, go to the Enhancements tab. Check the Disable all enhancements options.
To confirm it click on the apply button, then click ok OK to close the window. Your delay issues might be fixed now.
Method 4: Troubleshooting Bluetooth
Troubleshooting is one of the best features of Windows through which you can fix most of the Windows issues. Therefore you can troubleshoot the connected Bluetooth device along with the PC’s Bluetooth.
To do open up the Widows Settings first, then go to Devices, and then on the Sound tab. Ensure that your Bluetooth Audio device has been connected to your PC.
Go to the right pane, click on the Troubleshoot button under Master Volume. After that, the troubleshooter window will appear on your screen.
Select your Bluetooth Device and click on the Next. Windows will check f there is anything wrong or not. If there is, then Windows will fix it up by itself and may resolve the delay issue.
To troubleshoot the Bluetooth on your PC, click on Update & Security in the Windows Settings first. Then go to the Troubleshoot tab on the left, and on the right side, click on Bluetooth. After that, hit the Run the troubleshooter button to troubleshoot Bluetooth.

Method 5: Update Bluetooth Driver
If the issues are not fixed, then the last thing you can do is to update your Bluetooth driver.
Press the Windows Key + X and click on the Device Manager from the menu. Now in the Device Manager, expand the Bluetooth category, right-click on your Bluetooth Device, and select Update from the menu.
To install automatically and online, click on the search automatically and install option. To install it manually, click on the Browse my files option. If the update doesn’t work, you can always roll-back to the previous version.
