Click Account icon.Note: This is your Avatar image on the top-right of your Trello board.Click SettingsClick Configure Two Factor AuthenticationEnter Username and Password again to confirm you want to enable 2FA (Two Factor Authentication)Click Button Labeled Add Two Factor AuthenticationNote: After clicking this button, a new window will open giving you backup codes. These can be used in the event you lose your Two Factor Auth. device. Be sure to store these backup codes securely, off your computer if possible or store them in a Password vault like 1Password.Return back to Original browser tab to continue enabling 2FATwo Factor Auth on your account.Click link User an Authenticator App instead. My recommendation is to use an Authenticator App vs. SMS text messages. Authy is a great option for this, however, Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator are also good options.Scan QR Code with Authenticator App.Enter 6-digit code in the Verification box, check the box I have my backup codes.Click the Verify and Update button. There is a fairly short timeout on this step. If you wait too long to enter the 6-digit code, you will be asked to log in again.
Trello will now display a screen that tells you that Two Factor Authentication is now enabled. Be sure to log out and log in again to verify all is working as expected. This is also where you can move 2FA over to an SMS device or disable 2FA completely on your Trello Account.
